1. Location, Location, Location
First, you have to decide what is essential. Do you want to be close to the beach? Choose a “Beach Front” property. Want to park the car and walk the Fernandina Beach Historic Downtown? We have plenty of rentals on the Island that allow you to do that.
2. Property Description
Could you read the description carefully? A good description will include the number of bedrooms and bathrooms, shared rooms, and outdoor living spaces. However, the description should also clearly show what to expect. Is it a new or renovated property? Does it have stairs? Is the kitchen upgraded? The description should also include proximity to local restaurants, attractions, and shopping.
3. Check Reviews

4. Cleanliness
All of our rental properties are professionally cleaned after each stay, and disinfected using Microband disinfectant throughout the entire property prior to each new arrival.
5. Amenities
Do you want Wi-Fi and a television? What about a washer/dryer? What’s in the kitchen? We list all amenities under each property description. Be sure to check whether your reservation includes use of community pools and other recreation equipment service providers.
6. Car Services
If you are flying or do not want to drive your car, check to see how close the property is to your selected rental property. Our property listings describe the walkability of the community. If you don’t see it, be sure to ask.
6. What to Bring
Our vacation rentals include nice linens for each bed and towels for each bathroom. Each bathroom has an initial supply of hand soap and toilet tissue(The good stuff), facial tissue boxes, bar soap selections, and a “oops! I forgot basket”. Bath robes are in our “Selected properties” and kitchens have a fully stocked supply assortment of paper towels and trash bags, baggies, wraps, paper dinner napkins, house hold cleaning supplies, all name brands. Non perishable dry condiments and cooking oils are left in the cabinets by the stove. Our laundry rooms have Tide detergent and dryer sheets and stain remover…If you’re staying longer than a 4 to 7 night stay, you’ll want to bring extra.
